The Initiate Commerce management team are all former employees of local start-up CommerceHub, a retail supply-chain management company that heralds as its customers some of the largest retailers in the United States. Below are selected works from our time at CommerceHub.

Drop Ship Master

The web-based front end to CommerceHub’s Universal Connection Hub platform, Drop Ship Master enables retailers to operate and monitor their extended supply chains. It is used by leading companies such as Target, QVC, Home Depot, Circuit City, Sears, Staples, K-Mart, Costco, ShopNBC and others. Jason Fox lead the team that developed and maintained the Java-based platform.

QVC Entertainment Storefront

The QVC Entertainment Storefront was a hosted, high-volume, high-availability storefront that was seamlessly embedded within QVC.com. It enabled QVC to add 2.1 million books, movies and music products to their product offering overnight. It included an administrative application for back-end for content management, merchandising, and pricing. The application was developed in ColdFusion in forty-five days, integrated with QVC’s shopping cart, and powered their Entertainment categories for several years.
